This policy explains what information GrowOperative collects when you use the app or visit growoperative.app, how we use it, and how you can control it. We aim to collect as little as we need to run the app, and we do not sell your data.
Account information. When you sign up we collect a username, an email address, and a password (stored only as a hash). You may also choose a display name and upload a profile photo.
Listings and trades. Items you list, photos you attach, prices you set, requests you make, orders you place, and the trustline credit relationships you build with other users are stored on our servers so we can show them to the right people in your network.
Photos. You can take or choose photos to attach to items. Photos are uploaded to our image storage and shown to people you trade with. We do not access your camera or photo library except when you explicitly attach a photo in the app.
Device basics. We receive standard request data (IP address, app version, OS version) when your device talks to our servers, used for diagnosing problems and protecting against abuse.
We do not collect: your contacts, your location, your phone number, your browsing activity outside the app, or advertising identifiers.
We do not sell your data, run advertising in the app, or share your trading activity with third parties for marketing purposes.
Your data is stored on servers we operate (currently hosted with AWS Lightsail in the US). Image files are stored on AWS S3. We use auth.foaf.io for identity and login. These services are subject to their own terms; the data we store with them is the same data described above.
When you delete your account, we remove your profile and listings. Trade records that involved other users may be retained in their accounts as part of their trade history; your name will be replaced with a generic placeholder.
GrowOperative is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above will reflect the most recent change. For material changes we will notify you in the app.
